Scatter 2

“Scatter II” is an impressionistic oil painting created with a painting knife on a canvas measuring 24 x 30. The artist’s intention was to replicate a Blue Herring coastal bird which makes its home in the Coastal Bend and can also be seen in other areas of Texas. The birds are patient hunters of crabs, shrimp and fish and can strike their prey with lightning speed.

 

The painting is located in the Phillip Manor and available for viewing and for purchas
