Whoop of a Dance

“Whoop of a Dance” is an impressionistic oil painting created with a painting knife on a canvas measuring 24 x 30. The artist’s intention was to replicate the mating dance of whooping cranes which occurs annually when the birds migrate to their seasonal nesting area in the Aransas Pass National Wildlife Refuge along the Texas Gulf Coast.
